CHPA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Position Statement
CHPA is dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive community in which participants and members can access events, programs, services, and be treated fairly based on protected traits, including, and not limited to age, color, disability, family responsibilities, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, personal appearance, political affiliation, race, religion, sex, and sexual orientation.
CHPA opposes all forms of discrimination and steadfastly works to ensure equity. We stand with our member companies pursuing equity, celebrating diversity, and creating inclusive work environments. We are inspired to listen and learn, to be better and do better, as an industry and society for all people.
CHPA will work collectively with our member companies and the CHPA Educational Foundation to ensure consumer access to safe and beneficial products by advancing DEI practices in policy, community outreach and initiatives, education and training, and the next generation of consumer healthcare leaders. We strive for an end to the systemic racial and health disparities that have plagued our country.
