Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety – The Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety (RMPDS) has been serving the public since 1956. In addition to operating a poison call center that serves consumers and healthcare providers regarding toxicological emergencies and concerns, the RMPDS is a leader in innovative drug safety research. The Research Division of RMPDS includes a clinical trials program specializing in studies of acetaminophen and antidotes/antivenoms, the RADARS® System that collects product-and geographically-specific data on abuse, misuse, and diversion of prescription drugs, and a drug and consumer product safety team specializing in safety surveillance and other post-market research for over-the-counter and consumer products.
