Washington, D.C. — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) mourns the passing of Johnny Isakson, former U.S. Senator from Georgia. Senator Isakson was a brilliant legislator, a statesman, and a gentleman.

Senator Isakson was a champion of OTC Monograph reform, introducing legislation that was ultimately enacted into law last year and which will serve as one of his many legislative legacies for generations to come. We, at CHPA, express our condolences to the Senator’s family for their loss.
