CHPA Welcomes Nineteen New Consumer Healthcare Manufacturers and Associate Members

Newest members include manufacturers Alcon, PROFOOT, and Willow Bark Brands, plus 16 associate members.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA), the national trade association representing leading manufacturers in the personal healthcare products industry, welcomes Alcon Vision, LLC, PROFOOT, Inc., and Willow Bark Brands, Inc. as its newest manufacturer members (as of Aug. 1). The three companies play an important role in personal healthcare with product offerings that include over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, dietary supplements, and consumer medical devices (CMD). CHPA is the only U.S. trade association representing the broader personal healthcare industry including all three of these categories.

Alcon, the global leader in eye care, manufactures over-the-counter eye care products for dry eye symptoms, including the Systane® family of lubricant eye drops; solutions for eye allergy itch relief, including the Pataday® family of products; contact lens care products including Opti-free® and Clear Care®; and, more. “Both Alcon and CHPA have a long history and deep understanding of the consumer healthcare space,” said David Bankeroff, Head of OTC Sales in the U.S. for Alcon. “We share CHPA’s commitment to advancing self-care and are excited about working together moving forward to help people see and live more brilliantly.”
