Short Description:    Exciting opportunity for talented individual to provide administrative support to the Government Affairs team at Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA), a national trade association located in Washington, DC. 
Long Description:   

The Executive Assistant, Government Affairs will play an integral role in coordinating the events and initiatives of the Government Affairs department and supporting the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, the heads of federal and state government affairs, and other team members. Duties include:Managing schedules and coordinating staff efforts; planning meeting logistics; reporting key issues, developments, and conflicts within the organization and member companies to the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs; managing content updates to the website; coordinating travel and expense reimbursements; and coordinating Government Affairs department activities with other CHPA departments.

 

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 2-5 years of professional office experience, and a high degree of professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software required. Outstanding organizational,interpersonal, and communication skills also desired, as well as the ability to anticipate needs and work as an independent self-starter.
