CHPA Internship Program

Overview

  • The CHPA Internship Program provides undergraduate and graduate students exposure to the OTC industry through a dynamic summer internship which includes project work for one or more CHPA departments and participation in a wide variety of meetings and activities across the organization.
  • Interns are selected based on candidate interests and organization needs and workload.
  • Length: Up to 7-weeks, starting in late May or early June
  • Pay: Modest hourly wage
  • Housing: CHPA does not provide housing arrangements and/or stipend, but can forward information about housing options at George Washington University

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Undergraduate or graduate student at accredited educational institution in a degree program relating to the work of CHPA (Ex. Communications/Marketing/PR, Healthcare/Medicine/Public Health, Political Science, Public Policy, etc.)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Application process

  • Submit cover letter, resume, and writing sample to Allison McKee, Senior Director, Human Resources at amckee@chpa.org by February 28
  • Human Resources will review applications and conduct phone interviews with candidates
  • Internship offers will be extended by March 31
