CHPA Statement Regarding 2020 Annual Executive Conference (AEC):

“The leadership of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association has made the decision that the association’s 2020 Annual Executive Conference (AEC) will not proceed as previously scheduled on March 22-24, in Orlando, Florida. This difficult decision was made with an abundance of caution given concerns around the potential spread and impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the rapidly evolving guidance from health and government experts regarding large public gatherings. The health and well-being of CHPA members, staff, speakers, and attendees is our utmost priority. 

“CHPA is inviting registrants to choose from three options for the return of their registration fees: (1) to apply the fees as a credit toward the 2021 Annual Executive Conference; (2) to donate all or a portion of the fees as a tax-deductible gift to support the CHPA Educational Foundation; or, (3) to receive a full refund. For a 2021 AEC credit or to donate fees to the foundation, members should email by Friday, March 13, with their preference. Otherwise, full returns will be processed automatically in the following days. 

“Registrants will also need to immediately cancel their own travel plans, including any hotel and transportation arrangements. CHPA will not be responsible for cancelling individual room reservations and registrants who fail to cancel their own rooms will be charged by the hotel which can be reached here or at 1-800-266-9432. 

“At this time, all other CHPA 2020 meetings are proceeding as planned, including the Regulatory, Scientific, and Quality (RSQ) Conference scheduled to be held on May 12-13 in Bethesda, Maryland, subject to change as events may require.”
