June Elected Board Chair-Elect of CHPA

Procter & Gamble Vice President to Assume Association's Lead Role in 2008

Washington, D.C. (March 15, 2007)—Richard H. June, vice president, Global Personal Health, The Procter & Gamble Company, was elected chair-elect of the Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) today by the Association’s members at CHPA’s Annual Executive Conference. Poised to take the Association’s lead role in 2008, June was elected to the CHPA Board of Directors in 2005, and to the Executive Committee in 2006, and currently serves as chair of the Finance Committee. June will serve as chair-elect under current CHPA Chair John T. Hendrickson, executive vice president and general manager, Perrigo Consumer Healthcare, Perrigo Company.

June began his career with Procter & Gamble in 1979 as a sales representative in the Packaged Soap & Detergent Division. Through 1998, he held various customer development management and marketing positions for Packaged Soap & Detergent, Fabric Care, Laundry Care, and Health Care. In 1999, he became general manager, Global Customer Business Development, Pharmaceuticals, and the following year, was promoted to vice president of that division. In 2002, June was named vice president/general manager, North American Pharmaceuticals & Global Customer Development. June assumed his current position as vice president,Global Personal Health in 2005.

June recently served on the advisory board of the National Pharmaceutical Council, Inc., and is active on the board of city ministries in Cincinnati. June received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University where he also played ice hockey as an undergrad and went on to receive a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. June and his wife Heather and their four children reside in Cincinnati, Ohio. Aside from his professional accomplishments, June is an avid skier and tennis player.
