Peterson Named Vice President for Corporate Development

Washington, D.C. (January 7, 2003)—Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) President Linda A. Suydam, D.P.A., announced that Theodore L. (Ted) Peterson has joined the Association as vice president for corporate development. Peterson has worked as a consultant to CHPA on member development issues since July 2001.

“It is imperative that CHPA programs are consistent with members’ needs and that we continue to inspire entrepreneurial ideas to benefit members,” said Suydam. “Ted has contributed significantly to this effort over the past 18 months and I look forward to even more concentration in this direction with Ted as a fulltime member of my staff.”

In his new role, Peterson will focus on growing and retaining CHPA members as well as helping to create business opportunities for member companies. Prior to joining CHPA on a permanent basis, Peterson was founder and principal of Ted Peterson Group, L.L.C. He has also held a variety of corporate positions with companies such as Whitehall-Robins Healthcare (now Wyeth Consumer Healthcare), Eastman Kodak Company, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and Exel Logistics.

Peterson’s new role with CHPA began January 6.
